Skyline Healthcare Group Limited (“Skyline”) provides life-critical and acute mobile healthcare services to communities and patients across New Zealand. They are the market leader in fixed wing patient transfer (air ambulance) in New Zealand and have the largest national footprint. The Group operates eleven aircraft from bases in Auckland, Napier (headquarters), Taranaki, Dunedin, and Queenstown. Skyline also provides flight charter services to private and corporate customers.

New Zealand is a long thin country with a dispersed population. We will always need to move patients to the points of care across the country and will often need to move medical carers to patients where they are. In order to deliver better healthcare outcomes for all New Zealanders, regardless of location, the country needs great mobile healthcare. Skyline Healthcare predicts growing demand for these services: strong population growth combined with an ageing population will drive more demand for Skyline’s services. In addition, in a post-pandemic world, demand for private charter services continues to increase.

Skyline has a high quality, diverse customer base with contracted revenue streams. The industry has material barriers to entry and is defensive through economic cycles.

Skyline has three core business lines:

1. Air ambulance: Skyline’s New Zealand Air Ambulance Service (NZAAS) specialises in intensive care, aeromedical transport, and medical evacuations (medevac) around the world; and

2. Mobile healthcare, which is focused on providing comprehensive medical assistance and concierge services to South Pacific patients from New Zealand and the South Pacific; and

3. Charter, which serves international and domestic individuals and companies that require bespoke travel solutions around New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific.
