Solar Hub NZ is one of New Zealand’s leading end-to-end solar providers, delivering residential, commercial, and solar farm installations nationwide. From family homes to large-scale businesses, schools, and community projects, we design and install solar and battery systems that help Kiwis generate, store, and manage their own clean energy - reducing costs, improving resilience, and cutting carbon emissions. With over 5 MW of solar sales, 120% year-on-year growth, and a strong nationwide footprint, we’re already driving New Zealand’s transition to cleaner, smarter, and locally owned energy.
Until now, most long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) projects in New Zealand have been funded and owned by offshore organisations — primarily based in Australia and other regions. This means that much of the value created by renewable energy here flows overseas. Our capital raise aims to change that. By creating and financing our own Solar Hub PPA and VPP portfolio, we’ll keep ownership — and returns — in Aotearoa.
Through this expansion, Solar Hub NZ will fund, own, and operate a growing portfolio of locally financed solar assets, supplying clean electricity to Kiwi businesses and communities at rates typically up to 30% below retail. Each rooftop we connect will become part of a decentralised, intelligent energy network that strengthens grid stability, accelerates decarbonisation, and keeps the economic and environmental benefits of solar power where they belong — right here in New Zealand.
Expected Trading
Following the completion of the initial capital raise, we anticipate hosting secondary market trading events on a quarterly basis to facilitate investor liquidity and ongoing participation.
Solar Hub NZ is raising NZD $5 million at a pre-money valuation of $22 million to fund and own its first portfolio of commercial Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) projects and accelerate the rollout of its Virtual Power Plant (VPP) network across Aotearoa.
This investment marks a pivotal step — shifting Solar Hub from an installer to an asset-owning energy company with recurring, contracted revenue streams from long-term PPAs. Each system generates clean power for Kiwi businesses at rates up to 30% below retail, while delivering stable, predictable returns for investors.
By joining this raise, investors will own a share of the infrastructure powering New Zealand’s renewable energy future — one that’s profitable, sustainable, and proudly Kiwi-owned.
Solar Hub NZ is redefining how New Zealand powers its future — cleanly, profitably, and locally. With over 3MW of Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) projects in its pipeline and 120% year-on-year growth, the company is one of Aotearoa’s fastest-growing renewable energy providers.
By combining long-term PPAs with a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) network, Solar Hub creates stable, cashflow-backed energy assets that deliver 30% cheaper power for customers and steady, contracted returns for investors.
Fully integrated from design to delivery, Solar Hub controls every stage of its value chain, ensuring quality, scalability, and strong margins. This capital raise gives investors a chance to own part of New Zealand’s clean energy infrastructure — keeping the power and the profits right here in Kiwi hands.
