Where We’re Going Next
Until now, most long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) projects in New Zealand have been funded and owned by offshore organisations — primarily based in Australia and other regions. This means that much of the value created by renewable energy here flows overseas. Our capital raise aims to change that. By creating and financing our own Solar Hub PPA and VPP portfolio, we’ll keep ownership — and returns — in Aotearoa.
Through this expansion, Solar Hub NZ will fund, own, and operate a growing portfolio of locally financed solar assets, supplying clean electricity to Kiwi businesses and communities at rates typically up to 30% below retail. Each rooftop we connect will become part of a decentralised, intelligent energy network that strengthens grid stability, accelerates decarbonisation, and keeps the economic and environmental benefits of solar power where they belong — right here in New Zealand.
Expected Trading
Following the completion of the initial capital raise, we anticipate hosting secondary market trading events on a quarterly basis to facilitate investor liquidity and ongoing participation.
