We are Arlington Motorcycles

We are on a mission to make micro-mobility desirable for urban professionals. Arlington design and manufacture limited batch compact electric motorcycles to unlock urban freedom.

We have been developing our first product quietly in stealth mode over the last 3 years right here in New Zealand. It's now time for us to bring that product, the Arlington A1, to market.

In a rapidly expanding and exciting market, we believe we have clear advantages with our design methodology, supply chain, company structure, manufacturing techniques and GTM strategy.

Introducing the A1:

Our Progress/History

Over the last 3 years we developed the Arlington A1 through multiple prototypes with constant user feedback informing the products progression.

Overall we have produced 10 bikes the majority of which will now be used as demo bikes or as display bikes with our retail display partners. We have completed on-road certification and a general compliance review to ensure we can sell in the New Zealand market and be ridden on New Zealand roads.

The product is ready, we are now looking to fund our next larger production run.

We have a growing community of interested customers and will be looking to deliver batch 2 bikes from Q2 2024.

As a company we have been operating with very low overheads and will continue to do so until the profits from sales allow us to make the key hires required to scale up the business and expand to other markets in late 2024. We have service agent agreements for maintenance as well as display partners (RJB Design) helping develop our public presence.

Design

Ride with only a car license. Our customers would never buy a traditional "moped", but they absolutely love the A1. Our beautiful clean look is forging a new market for professionals looking for eco-friendly lifestyle transport.

Sport Mode

We believe ‘Cult Status’ motorcycles need to have the perfect mix of performance, aesthetics and ergonomics. With 4KW peak power combined with a compact well designed package it sure is fun to ride. Sport mode gets up to 80KMs of real world range.

Eco Mode

Developed to relieve customer range anxiety. With 120kms real life range our customers can be sure they will always make it home.
