Home Capital Partners is offering investors Partnership Interest Units (PIUs) in The New Zealand Housing Fund Te Piringa Limited Partnership (the Fund), which will invest in newly built, fully tenanted affordable, and social housing throughout Aotearoa
New Zealand.
The offer is to raise up to $67 million in committed capital, to be fully drawn down and deployed within three years.
Home Foundation has committed up to 70% ($47 million) of cornerstone investment in the Fund, with $19 million of this investment electing to take no distributions for the first five years in order to enhance the returns for other investors.
Te Piringa is an evergreen fund, with a long-term investment horizon. Investors requiring greater liquidity have the option of Preference Shares redeemable after five years. The Catalist platform is also available to connect buyers and sellers of PIUs.
In 2026, a mechanism for retail investors to invest into the Fund will also be offered through Catalist, providing additional liquidity for wholesale investors.
